A little about me -

Welcome & Hello! My name is Caitlin, I'm the lady behind 'Darling at Dusk'

I’m a girl mum to Arabella and Murphy, married to my best mate Matty, and fur mum to our Border Collie, Tally. I love all things flowers, cottage gardens and vintage finds (basically anything your grandma tried to give away).

I’m a big DIY creative with a health degree and a soft spot for science. Always up for a skinny cap and a good yarn — bonus points if it’s gluten free (coeliac life).

I’ve been behind the camera for years, capturing all the real, fun, in-between moments. When I’m not working, you’ll find me documenting everyday life on film — forever chasing those one-shot wonders on 35mm.

MY APPROACH -

I’m all about capturing moments as they naturally unfold — the connection, the chaos, the love. Every session is personalised, relaxed and guided by natural light and real life as it happens.

My approach is candid and story-driven. Think belly laughs, kisses, silly moments and the quiet in-betweens — the things that actually feel like you. If you’re camera shy or feel awkward, you’re in very good hands. My sessions are easy, calm and pressure-free so you can just be yourselves.

I put my whole heart into documenting some of the most meaningful seasons of your life, always focusing on authenticity over perfection. I’m here for the real moments — not stiff posing or forced smiles.

For newborn sessions, I keep things natural and baby-led. If you’re after heavily posed, styled or prop-focused images, I may not be the right fit — and that’s okay. My style is about documenting what’s real and beautifully imperfect, just as you are.
